Paying for Flowsta and Your Own AI with HoloFuel
We've signed a memorandum of understanding with Holo Ventures setting out our intention to accept HoloFuel, and Flowsta will be one of the first to do so. Everywhere you can pay us in US dollars today, across Flowsta and Your Own AI, you'll be able to pay in HoloFuel instead.

Why we're doing this
Your Digital Life. Your Choice. We built Flowsta so your identity lives on your own device and your records are yours to keep and check. How you pay should be your choice too. Card payments will always be there. HoloFuel gives you another way to pay that works the way the rest of Flowsta does - directly from your device, with a record you hold yourself.
What HoloFuel is
HoloFuel is a mutual-credit currency that runs on Holochain, the same technology Flowsta is built on. It isn't sold to anyone - it's earned by providing something useful to the network. Each person runs it on their own device and keeps their own signed record of what they've paid and received.
How pricing will work
Our prices stay in US dollars. We set the HoloFuel equivalent of those prices ourselves and review it from time to time, so what you pay in HoloFuel tracks our dollar pricing. Holo Ventures doesn't set, approve or underwrite our prices.
Paying for what we already offer is only the first step. A currency that works directly between people opens up things a card payment never could, and we'll have more to share as we build.
